Imakoko is produced in Nagano on the island of Honshu, somewhat of a rarity as a vast majority of shochu distillation in Japan occurs on Kyushu.

Meant to be a food friendly single-distilled barley shochu, Imakoko is delicate and refreshing with subtle aromatics.
