Established in 1916, the Bungo Meijyo brewery/distillery is situated along a stream surrounded by a lush forest where a festival of fireflies congregates annually, attracted to the clean water and air.  Being a small craft operation, Bungo Meijyo is capable of tending to quality production with absolute precision.

Committed to protecting their century-old tradition, the crew strives to progress and evolve every day, driven by the prospect of witnessing their customers’ joyful reaction to their products.     

季節になると螢の乱舞をみることができる清流のそばに建つ蔵元。清らかな水と空気、緑豊かな森林、美しい自然の中で、小さな蔵だからできる技術で、美味しいと言われる焼酎造りにこだわっています。

１００年の伝統を守りつつも、さらに造りに磨きをかけて、日々、進化を求め続けています。お客様の「旨いっ！」の一言を聞きたいが為に日々精進してます。
