Tokun Shuzo was founded in 1825 by Shimousa Sawara. Taking inspiration from 190 years of history and tradition, the brewery continues in the Nanbu-Toji tradition focusing on the balance between developing festive aromatics and drawing out the umami inherent in sake rice.    

江戸文化が華やいだ文政8年、下総佐原にて創業。190年の歴史と伝統を誇りに、酒造り一筋に歩んできました。南部杜氏で「現代の名工」と言われた、酒造りの名人、及川杜氏が香り華やいだ吟醸酒や米の旨味を感じる純米酒を醸しています。
