In 1899, Takano Brewery was established to create sake to celebrate the bounty of the Echigo region and properly reflect the beauty of Niigata Prefecture.  The Brewery’s ethos is surmised by the following tenets:

A brew is the sum of the collective passion of those who brewed it. 

Sake is not singular in that the value of a brew is determined by those enjoying it, to wit that is the meaning of sake; to enrich and bring joy to life.

1899年に創業した高野酒造は新潟の自然と共に地元で愛される地酒を醸します。 日本酒は人生を豊かに、楽しくしてくれるものと信じております。 私自身がそうです。そして酒造りに携わる身になって「人の和」というものがとても重要だと気付かされました。 杜氏一人だけでは日本酒を造ることはできません。 「良い酒を造りたい」「お客様に喜んでほしい」　そんな蔵人、一人一人の情熱や想いによって高野酒造の酒は醸されています。 その情熱の結晶である日本酒が皆様の人生をより豊かに、より楽しくするものであることを祈ってこれからも精進して参ります。
