KITAYA KANSANSUI JDG AWARDED DOUBLE GOLD AND BEST OF SHOW AT 68TH ANNUAL WSWA CONVENTION WINE & SPIRITS COMPETITION

POMPTON PLAINS, NJ (April 15, 2011) Scoring unanimous top honors from the judging panel, Kitaya Kansansui Junmai Dai-Ginjyo was awarded DOUBLE GOLD and also designated as one of six BEST OF SHOW wines at the 2011 Wine and Spirits Wholesalers Association (WSWA) Wine and Spirits Tasting Competition that attracted over 200 wine entrants. Featured in this month's Tasting Panel Magazine, Kitaya Kansansui JDG is a medium dry and lighter sake made using the "Shizukushibori" method and head water of the Yabe River. It is extremely mellow, complex, delicately aromatic, and has a fleeting finish.
