Wine of Japan Import, Inc. was founded in 1973 and has since become the premier Japanese liquor distributors in the New York tri-state area.

Founded in New York, the company has continually expanded its distribution reach from its current headquarters in New Jersey throughout the United States. In 2003, a second distribution center in Florida was created in order to accommodate the growing demand in the South.
